Client issued Letter of Award (LOA) to build 66kV Substations to Saudi based Construction Companies Al-Babtain Contracting Company (06 Substations), Alfanar Construction Company (05 Substations) and NESMA Electric (04 Substations). As part of the package, there are fifteen (15) Substations that will be constructed across Kingdom of Bahrain. Following are the names of Substations:

Voltage level of above substations will be 66/11kV. Scope of Work includes Design, supply, installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of substation works on lump sum turnkey basis. Major equipment includes 66kV Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS), Power Transformers, Medium Voltage Switchgear, Control and Protection systems, Telecommunication systems, HV cable between switchgear and transformers, Auxiliary Power Supply system, Substation Civil Works and Associated Building Services.
